SCM doesn't update from 4.1.2.1

Hi,

SCM doesn't update from 4.1.2.1.

I click on the update button then I click OK in the pop up window. The pop up window disappears then nothing happen.

I've tried to manually update by downloading and installing SCM again but the installer doesn't even start.

I use Windows 10

I am not sure if it is solved in one of the next updates or not but my real problem is that SCM doesn't post images to wordpress.com blogs. It uploads them but doesn't include them into the posts.

I've just remembered that SCM had some problems with avast before. I turned off avast and it did manage to update without problem.

I've still got problems with images, though. SCM uploads them to wordpress.com but doesn't insert them into the articles.

I'm not sure if wordpress.com allows image uploads, I will have to enable offsite imgur posting in the next version!

It did work before. Last time I used at the end of November it uploaded the pictures and included them in the posts.

Now it just uploads the pictures to the media directory and I have to sign in, go to the media directory and select them to be included in the article.

Sorry I haven't tested this extensively before posting it here.

I've done some more posting and It

works just as well as before. The problem was if the image is a featured

one it doesn't appear in the article itself and on some templates not

even on the front page.

Thanks for the update!

Yes, featured image only works if the theme you select actively supports them.

Which means that image may not appear at all, you can turn of "Feature image" when creating articles via article creator.

You can also manually tweak this setting when uploading via blog manager.
