4.1.0.0

1) Add via custom sources table

2) Make sure in "search engine" you select Custom Search Engine. Its been added to the list after Bing/BingCache/Google/Custom Search Engine

SCM will scrape the page directly for links.

Use %keyword% to let SCM know where it should insert the keyword into the custom url.

EG

hubpages.com/search/?s=%keyword%

It will support any site that uses Google custom search, see the example above with hubpages.

SCM passes the URL as is to the web browser and scrapes whatever links is returned from that.

You could use any page you want, but works well with any site that has a search box (you can scrape their results directly from their site and bypass Google or search engines)

How to add

  1. Edit custom sources (via article downloader or article creator)
  2. Add Url, set search engine to "Custom Search Engine"
The CSE is just another custom source.

Here is how you do it:

  1. Find the search Url

    http://example.com/search?q=dog+training

  2. Replace the search string with %keyword%

    http://example.com/search?q=%keyword%

  3. Open custom site grid (via Article creator or article downloader)
  4. Add your new site, then select "Custom Search Engine"
